PREVENTING CHILD HAZARDS
- Supervise children in the
pool. Young children tend to get hurt in the blink of an eye. In addition,
caution children to observe pool rules.
- Teach children to respect
other people’s property. Their damaging someone else’s property may hurt them
and cost you – such as, getting cut from broken glass windows when
ball-playing.
- Equip young children with
helmets, when they use a bike. A small fall may become a large injury and the
Law requires it.
- Educate your child on the
beauty of their surroundings and the perils they face. Splinters and cuts
from breaking the wood air-condition fences could cause hurtful infections.
Why destroy and not appreciate.
- Teach your children
cleanliness and how not to litter. It is just as easy to drop soda cups,
bottles or candy wrappers into the nearest garbage bin or dumpster.
- Alert children to the perils
of riding bikes in the roadways. Avoiding incoming vehicles can prevent their
getting hurt, even though drivers are required to slow down within the
community.
- Take action when you observe
dangerous objects which could be harmful to any child by throwing into
dumpster broken beer bottles, nails sticking up, etc. that could cause
accidents.
- Adhere to regulations that
prohibit bringing shopping carts to the community in order to prevent children
from climbing into and pushing each other, causing them to fall and hurt
themselves.
I hope this
recommendation helps our community to avoid accidents.
Sincerely,
The Manager
